The hike to Hrebienok is one of the pleasant, easy hikes that are suitable for children. It is also possible to use the funicular, which runs every half an hour from Starý Smokovec. In the vicinity of Hrebienok you will also find Studenovodské waterfalls, Bilíková and Reinerová chata and 1 hour along the green trail Zamkovský chata.

Štrbské pleso is the most famous and most visited Tatra lake. Walking around the lake is one of the favourite activities of tourists, during the summer season you can also experience boating on its water surface, which is available during the summer season.

The hike to the waterfall Skok is very pleasant and easy, even children can handle it. The hiking trail leads through the Mlynicka valley and offers beautiful views of the Tatra ridges.

Chalet at the Green Pleso called also Brnčalka is one of the most popular mountain chalets in the Tatras. The route to the chalet leads along a pleasant, easy trail marked with a yellow sign. At the finish you will find the chalet, which offers refreshments all year round, surrounded by peaks and the Green Ball.

The hike to the Popradské Pleso is very pleasant and easy, even children can handle it without a doubt. Access is by the blue trail from the parking lot under Popradský Pleso or by the red trail from Štrbské Pleso. Half an hour on foot from the lake is the famous Symbolic Cemetery, which is a place of remembrance of those who left their lives in the High Tatras.

The hike to Sliezky dom offers two routes, the green trail leads along a nice Tatra trail or the asphalt path will be appreciated by parents with strollers. The highest mountain hotel at an altitude of 1 670 m above sea level is an excellent starting point for climbing Gerlachovský štít.

Skalnatá chalet is located in the Skalná valley on the edge of Skalný pleso near the ski resort. We recommend the hike as a circuit from Starý Smokovec to Hrebienok - from the crossroads at Zamkovský chalet continue along the red trail to the chalet. The hike can also be done in the opposite direction from Tatranská Lomnica by a steep climb around the Grandhotel Praha on the slope up to Skalnate pleso. An alternative is to take the cable car from Tatranská Lomnica.

A trip to the second highest peak of the High Tatras - Lomnicky Peak will provide unrepeatable views of the surrounding peaks of the smallest mountains in the world. On the peak there is a stylish café Dedo. From the valley station in Tatranská Lomnica, a 4-seater cable car leads to the intermediate station Start, from where a 15-seater gondola continues to Skalnate pleso, which is the top station and also a transfer station to Lomnický štít. From there, a unique suspended red cable car takes you up to the peak, which overcomes an 855-metre elevation gain and takes 8.5 minutes.

The treetop walkway is a unique and very popular attraction. It is located on the ridge of Spišská Magura, on the border of Pieniny and Tatra National Park. The trail will take you through a species-diverse forest and provide spectacular views of the ridge of the Belianske Tatras, the peaks of which you will have in the palm of your hand. You can reach the trail on foot along the hiking trail from Bachledova dolina, or you can use the cable car, which will take you to the trail, which is barrier-free in its entire length.

The exposition of the Ski Museum in Tatranská Lomnica is devoted to the history of the origin and development of winter sports in the High Tatras from the very beginning until 1945. Visitors of the museum can learn a lot of interesting information about the beginnings of skiing, skating, curling, climbing, sledging and bobsledding in the High Tatras through 19 educational boards. You will definitely be interested in the workshop for making skis, ski poles and ski boots.

The museum is located in Tatranská Lomnica and in the exposition divided into four thematic circuits you will get acquainted with the nature and history of the Tatras, but also with the life and culture of the people of the Tatras in the past.

Tricklandia is an amusement park and gallery in one, where both adults and children will find something to enjoy. There are 24 attractions including 15 trick art paintings, augmented reality, anti-gravity rooms and the most beautiful mirror maze in Central Europe. The tour lasts approximately 1 hour and during the tour you will find themes of Slovak folk tales, fairy tales, as well as the realities of villages and castles in Slovakia.

Thanks to digital technologies, visitors will have the opportunity to find out what it feels like to stand on the highest waterfall on our planet, float down an unknown river or cross the North Pole.

A big attraction of the Relax Park is the squirrel rope park, which consists of two kinds of tracks, one for bigger and the other for smaller enthusiasts. There is also a safe place for the little ones to play- climbing frames and slides. In the summer there is boating on the lake and you can also play badminton, volleyball, football, mini golf, cricket or just sit on the bench.
