FROM THE FIRST TATRA SHOP TO ELEGANT ACCOMMODATION

Kuszmann's Bazaar has stood in the centre of the Tatranská Lomnica spa park since 1896, when it was opened to the public as the first Tatra shop with mixed goods. After a fire in 1903, the shop reopened a year later in a new look. Among other things, a large covered veranda was added to the brick shophouse. Kuszmann's Bazaar served its original purpose until the 1990s, when it was converted into the Hotel Tatry. The building underwent a complete reconstruction in 2023, after which it returned to its original name Kuszmann's Bazaar. The same year also brought the opening of the first Tatra artisan bakery and confectionery on the ground floor of the building and the PaB restaurant on its first floor. These days, it also opens its doors to its guests on its other floors, which house comfortable and elegant apartments with the most modern amenities.
