If Medňanský’s work piques your interest, you can continue exploring it at the nearby Strážky Castle. This significant monument of Renaissance architecture is about a 20-minute drive from Tatranská Lomnica and is the place where, in the mid-19th century, the then 10-year-old Ladislav Medňanský spent his days with his father, Baron Eduard Mednyánszky of Beckov. A tour of the manor house and the adjacent English-style park will take you about 1–1.5 hours.

Simply install the mobile app and scan the unique QR code next to each painting. This will let you learn more about the specific painting and its artist. A Nice Lunch at the Neighbors'
