Our pride will be not only paintings, but also music
Music, art and culture have been associated with Hotel Lomnica since its inception. The composer and piano virtuoso Ota Čermák (1919-1963) composed the Tatra Pastorale in 1953, which he performed for the first time on an electrophonic organ that he had installed himself in the Hotel Lomnica, where he used to give frequent concerts during the summer seasons. The Tatra Pastorals were inspired by the author's relationship to the Tatra Mountains, and the motif from them was also the theme tune of Prague television. In a few days you will be able to listen to them in our café MOZART.Full Article

Revealed history of Hotel Lomnica

Some have been uncovered over the years, others are still waiting to be uncovered or to find their truth. The famous philosopher Cicero was not wrong when he said that "History is the witness of time, the light of truth, the living memory, the teacher of life, and the messenger of the past."Full Article
